Welcome
Dates and Times - Spring 2022
Tentatively: MWF 1:45 - 2:35, Geology 2029
Textbook
"Weather Maps," 3rd Edition, by Peter Chaston. This text is out of print and not available at the IU Bookstore. We'll take care of the arrangements on the first day. The tentative plan is:
- Option 1: if you already have a copy, great.
- Option 2: I can loan you one of my copies for the semester. (I should have enough.) If you'd like to go this route, please bring a $20 deposit on the first day of class; once you return the book in the same condition in May, I'll refund your $20.
- Option 3: If you're staying in the field, you can buy one on Amazon. Copies are normally $20-$40.
The 4th Edition is normally much more expensive (everyone is hoarding their copies -- including me!), so it's rare to find one under $60. Stick with the 3rd.
