Torching Behavior at the Ojo Feliz Wildfire
This video clip, recorded about 4:00 PM on April 17th, 2006, shows a small stand of trees torching as a group. Notice that the surrounding forest remains mostly intact as strong surface winds drive the plume horizontally along the canyon slope.
